Are you an Account Manager who has experience selling to the aviation/aerospace industry? Are you an Account Manager who has a track record of supporting and growing one or two major accounts? If you can answer "yes" to this question, you should consider this opportunity.

Our client has been in business over 50 years and manufactures high precision parts and assemblies used in a wide range of applications and industries, including the aviation/aerospace industry. Our client also designs and builds inventive manufacturing equipment and assembly systems for a variety of industries, including the aviation/aerospace industry. Our client is seeking an Account Manger who will support one major customer in the aviation/aerospace sector located in San Antonio, Texas Since our client is an engineered to order manufacturer, you will work closely with our client's customer's engineering department on the development of new products.You will report to the President and will manage branding, new market development, and new product development from conception through launch for assigned product lines and markets. You will provide technical leadership for our client's customers as you grow existing accounts. You will also develop additional locations for this key account. You will prepare sales performance data and compare to expectations, make recommendations and/or changes if necessary.

You will work out of your home office.

Principle Responsibilities: Support in providing technical sales support for targeted North American customers in the automotive industry Comprehend customer drawings, specifications, bills of material, & timelines to support developing cost and budget models Review customer needs and develop solutions assisted by internal resources Establish and work to sales and marketing performance goals Plan and implement sales strategies, establish and work to sales and marketing performance objectives Perform and develop proposals from project plans and specs and negotiate and secure project orders Create a profile of the preferred characteristics and needs of potential customers and how Company Brand aligns; track sales leads, wins and losses in sales database system May also Identify and segment a broader customer database and track potential opportunities Review, analyze and recommend action to enhance our business processes both internally and externally Follow a “Best practice / value added” approach to the development of new procedures necessitated by changes both within current business technologies and the Company Work with sales management to develop both new and existing opportunities for the Company Provide market feedback, competitive intelligence and hit-rate information to business and sales leadership Participate in industry trade shows and local organizations to build relationships with customers Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing and related field At least 5 – 7 years technical sales experience selling to the aviation/aerospace industry. Experience managing and growing major accounts. Experience selling an Customized/engineered product. Experience selling automated equipment preferred. Practiced knowledge of various manufacturing technologies Knowledge of specifications and requirements incumbent with Fortune 100 companies Experienced at presenting proposal solutions in a group setting; balanced and discrete approach when participating in meetings Strong oral communication and presentation skills. Up to 80% day travel There is no relocation assistance involved. Our client is seeking candidates who reside in TX. Living closer to San Antonio will be the best location.
