Who We Are The GSA Contract Specialist reports directly to our CEO and is responsible for maintaining and managing GSA reports and records in compliance with the GSA contract terms and conditions. They are also responsible for all RFP and documents required for GSA contract modifications. As the primary contact for all GSA related communications, the ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and be able to communicate with vendors regarding business and non-compliance implications. Magic Logix received GSA Contract Number: GS-07F-0663W and GS-35F-0255Y.Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain list of small business vendors and identify new small business vendors to add to GSA accounts.Maintain business size certifications.Promote company policy that demonstrates company's support for awarding subcontracts to small businesses. Facilitate input of small business concerns to determine GSA products with respect to products and services they are capable of providing and that meet our product and vendor standards. Review vendor bid requests to remove statements, clauses, or any content that restricts or prohibits small business participation. Attend Business Opportunity Workshops, Minority Business Enterprise Seminars and Trade Fairs.Provide notice to subcontractors concerning penalties for misrepresentations of business status as a small business owner for the purpose of obtaining a subcontract that is to be included as part or all of a goal contained in the contractor's subcontracting plan. Maintain GSA records.Conduct and arrange training to include instruction for purchasing personnel regarding the purchase procedures necessary to implement Subcontracting Plan as required by Public Law 95-507 and training with Managed Account Representatives and Customer Service Representatives to provide update on GSA purchasing compliance and pricing.Ongoing review of all GSA items to approve and/or change items on GSA list in the catalogs/website and to ensure GSA price list is current in the catalog/website.Coordinate pre-audits and prepare Magic Logix for all GSA audits.  Provide summary of GSA audit and address any issues or concerns.Manage all required GSA reports. Qualifications / Requirements:Previous Government/GSA Experience3 -- 5 years sales experienceExcellent communication and problem solving skillsStrong attention to detail/accuracySuperior Networking SkillsProper communication skillsAbility to work with little supervision and ability to work independently.Extremely organized, deadline oriented and ability to manage time in an effective manner.Strong Computer skills to include Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and ERP system.4 Year Degree or EquivalentSalary Information Magic Logix offers a competitive base salary of $30,000 a year and commission plan based on winning accounts.Magic Logix is an equal opportunity employer.
