InVest In People, LLC.Manufacturing Engineer - Gilmer, TX (copy 2)Job Description:Gilmer, TX Manufacturer is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer. This position will analyze, recommend and implement process improvements by applying established operational standards. Prepare method instructions to include tool identification, standard processing conditions, equipment specifications, operational sequences, material routings, standard time requirements and labor efficiency. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure that safety and ergonomic considerations are built into each operationAnalyze production reports to determine reasons for variancesObserve and analyze production to improve methods, tooling and simplify operationsEnsure reliable operation of plant equipment and develop methods to enhance or upgrade manufacturing processes to eliminate waste, reduce cost and improve overall production productivityAssist in the development of improved existing products, as well as new products, ensuring quality and manufacturing methodsDevelop documented procedures for all operations, including all new or alternative manufacturing processes, equipment and toolingDevelop training/reference guides as requiredTrain all associates on improved methodsMonitor and oversee environmental conditions to ensure compliance to governing standards and work closely with environmental agency personnel and consultants on resolutions to environmental and safety issuesIn-depth knowledge of all ISO processes, procedures, flowcharts and quality policies, including developing new and existing documentationResearch, plan and prepare Capital Appropriation Requests for approval relative to procurement of capital equipment, expansion construction, major maintenance projects, service contracts, etc.Keep well informed on new developments and techniques in the engineering field REQUIRED Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferredSafety and Ergonomics experience would be an advantageCorrosion experience would be an advantageCustomer interface would be an advantageQuality Control / Statistics · ISO Knowledge / ExperienceProficient Verbal and Written English Communication SkillsFamiliarity with MRPII · Knowledge of Composite Materials THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE POSITIONAbout InVest In People, LLC.:If your looking to make a career change, InVest In People is looking for you.
