Personal Touch Healthcare Service is currently seeking a full time Program Director responsible for directing, planning, and coordinating activities of staff to ensure quality and safe delivery of personal care services; implements and evaluates agency's personal care services, programs and activities and ensures the continuation of the agency's philosophy and standards of home health care; ensures compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines for all services; assures the quality and growth of the agency through effective promotion and administrative practices.1. Oversees all aide/sitter (i.e., non-skilled) services provided to clients2. Identifies in-service and educational needs of all aides/sitters; develop educational programs accordingly3. Evaluates paperwork tracking systems necessary for timely billing and regulatory compliance; assesses effectiveness of systems; implements necessary changes4. Conducts pre-billing audit; work with Finance to coordinate and complete monthly billing process; ensures project implementation requirements are met5. Coordinates activities of Staffing Coordinators to ensure that needs of the clients are being met6. Communicates with Case Managers to ensure coordination of care7. Provides telephone support to care providers, clients and the community8. Coordinates ongoing quality assurance program in accordance with agency policies and project requirements9. Submits required reports as requested10. Evaluates implementation of projects; executes any necessary corrections11. Provides supervision to all staff including the performance of supervisor visits in accordance with Medicaid regulations12. Communicates to staff all financial goals and corporate mission/objectivesEducation and/or Experience:* A bachelor's degree in a human service-related field: social work, psychology, sociology, physical therapy, recreational therapy, occupational therapy or counseling from an accredited college or university and two years of paid experience in a human service-related field providing direct services to the elderly and/or persons with disabilities; or**A licensed registered nurse (RN) or a licensed practical nurse (LPN) with one year paid experience providing direct services to the elderly and/or persons with disabilities* Must possess demonstrated excellence in administration and organizational leadership* Knowledge of federal and state regulations, as well as Medicaid regulations for home health services* Basic computer skills necessaryContact: Michelle UnderwoodMail or fax all resumes to:Personal Touch Healthcare Service1211 N Range Ave Ste.
