✰NETWORK/SYSTEM ADMINISTRATORInstall, configure, maintain and support the Organization's network infrastructure. Maintain network hardware and software. Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. Install, configure, and maintain both physical and virtual servers, and desktops.The Network Administrator provides a single point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance within the Organization's desktop computing environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading all PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via email) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required. Job RequirementsEducation: • BS in Information Technology related field with one or more courses in current technology. Preferred Certifications: • Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE); Microsoft Certified System • Administrator (MCSA) Experience: • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Administrator on a medium sized network of servers, desktop systems and communications devices using current technologies. • Experience supporting, implementing and administering networks such as Microsoft Windows, Active Directory and Group Policies (GPO)• Supporting, implementing and administering Citrix required• Supporting, implementing and administering SQL applications required• Experience supporting Windows 7 desktop/laptop PCs• Demonstrated experience of Exchange 2010 and Office 365 • Demonstrated experience of Switch, Router and Firewall configuration • Experience configuring VPNs for remote access • Experience in backup and disaster recovery• Experience with VMware and resource planningSkills: • Demonstrated knowledge of setting up remote access for multi-site environment • Demonstrated ability to support networked printers and photocopiers • Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously • Ability to respond to frequent pressure to meet deadlines when work speed and sustained accuracy is paramount• Ability to effectively communicate effectively with Professional staff Morris Bart, LLC 909 Poydras St.-Suite 2000 New Orleans, LA 70112 Resume by E-mail Location: New Orleans (CBD) Compensation: CompetitivePrincipals only.
