We are looking to hire a bookkeeper/office manager to replace our current employee of seven years. This position begins no later than August 1 and is a full-time position (40 hours/wk).Job Duties:Work week = Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pmAnswer phonesTake messagesMail - Pick up, open, sort, distribute and/or handle itMake bank depositsAP -- verify, post and pay billsAR -- generate invoicesPR -- weeklyPay payroll and quarterly taxesMaintain a general filing systemGeneral clerical workKeep management informed of business activities and account balancesMaintain a clean office spaceSkills/Qualifications:***Must be familiar with accounting software, preferably QB***Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other programsStrong oral and written communications skillsSelf-motivated and resourcefulMust be highly organized and detail orientedExpected to work independentlyExperience working in an office environment and supporting a team on project-based workThe bookkeeper/office manager works closely on a daily basis with the business owner as well as the arena manager but will also work independently, so self-motivation is a must.
