Enterprise Services and SharePoint Server 2010 PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Under the direction of the Unifice Communications Services Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to Leads in resolutions of trouble call and service request where needed Accountable for customer service to identify and meet SLA levels of support for heartbeat and more complex support of the CareFirst messaging environment including Manage and administer all email messaging systems and their corresponding or associated software and hardware This includes Microsoft Exchange 2010 Lync 2010 Server including Audio Conferencing IM and Live Meeting and a fully implemented Unified communications environment Architect design and support the CareFirst unified messaging environment Including Voice Data and SMTP integration Exchange 2010 Microsoft Lync environment including Audio Conferencing IM and Live Meeting Provide oncall technical support for end users Support of SMTP gateways Support Microsoft Exchange Domino Connector Monitor and analyze email system activities to ensure maximum performance efficiency and availability Monitor and test email server software performance and provide statistics and reports Analyze email system or application usage and plan for growth or increases in network capacity Identify and resolve problems affecting messaging systems performance efficiency and availability in a timely manner Assess need for any messaging system reconfigurations (minor or significant) and execute them if required Recommend schedule and perform software improvements upgrades andor purchases Maintain and troubleshoot mail routing replication thresholds and deadletter files Add remove certify and move new or existing enduser accounts and administer permissions and access rights Administer messaging systems access and support efforts for remote users Create private and public mailing folders and lists calendaring services address books and shared mail applications Develop implement and maintain policies procedures and associated training plans for messaging system administration and appropriate use Where necessary provide enduser training and support through verbal andor written communications Interact and negotiate with vendors outsourcers and contractors to secure email software products and services Support Rightfax server and application issues Responsible for Blackberry server updates hot fixes and troubleshooting Architecture Design and maintenance of Exchange 2010 Microsoft Lync environment including Audio Conferencing IM and Live Meeting Blackberry Enterprise services RightFax Enterprise Services and SharePoint Services 2010 ensuring 999 minimum availability This positions primary responsibility is the architecture design and efficient operation of the Corporate electronic messaging infrastructure This includes but is not limited to system administration security issues including account administration access control levels virus detection and data backup and restores activities This position is also responsible for capacity planning and maintenance as well as the research engineering and testing Ability to lead technical implementations and projects Project planning and coordination and as required assumption of project roles for projects Utilize project management tools to track and report on project progress and issues Represents team as needed in support Develop and maintain server documentation policies procedures and configuration information Additional responsibilities include development and maintenance of system documentation and server policies and procedures ensuring compliance with Corporate security and audit regulations Prepare daily and weekly management reports for trending of trouble calls and service request Verification of all documentation that it is being kept current this means trouble calls resolutions and the service request database As well as the CTS knowledge management sites Research current technology through selftraining Provide instruction to peers and staff on technology changes and guide less experienced staff to ensure consistency and compliance to departmental standards and policies Serve as lead resource to other IT staff by assisting in problem resolution assisting with system design and integration and recommending
