AlliedBarton Security Services’ focus is on employee growth, safety and satisfaction and these are at the forefront of all of our company initiatives.  We provide strong leadership, continuous training and we foster a culture of quality security officers and continuous customer satisfaction.  Description:Patrol facility or man post as instructed and serve as a general security presence and visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions; detect suspicious activities and watch for criminal acts or client rule infractions at or near assigned post which may be a threat to the property, client or employees at the site.  Report all incidents, accidents or medical emergencies. Respond to emergencies, such as medical and bomb threats; and to alarms, such as fire and intrusion by following emergency response proceedings.Key Responsibilities:·         Respond to fire, intrusion and other alarms; answer service calls documenting all reports of crime, security violations, or incidents; provide emergency first aid and escorts to all individuals on each site location; coordinate emergency evacuation; staff vehicle and conduct inspection tours.·         Perform all necessary services to ensure the safety and protection of the building personnel and property.·         Report hazardous conditions and items in need of repair or attention.·         Maintain visitor records·         Maintain daily reports of activities that occur at the facilities for all visitors.·         Assist in emergency management situations·         Assist traffic operations on the properties to control traffic flow. This includes controlling traffic through the use of hand and arm signals and batons; and the placement of traffic and/or regulatory signs, stanchions, cones and barriers.Background and Screening Requirements (non-negotiable requirements)·         Previous employment verification (up to 10 years)·         Education certificate(s) with a minimum of high school diploma verification·         Past residences (up to 10 years)·         Record of previous military service (if applicable)·         Favorable Criminal History check·         Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizens·         A credit report must indicate financial responsibility·         Favorable Drug testing·         Favorable Driving History·         Favorable Medical Examination·         Favorable Physical Fitness Assessment·         Must meet the State of Texas requirements for obtaining an Armed Security Officer License immediately after training.Training Requirements:·         Must take the semi-annual firearms qualification.·         Must take semi-annual physical fitness test·         CPR, AED and First Aid certified before starting on job site·         State of Texas Armed License renewal when due.Requirements or competencies:·         Minimum of 4 years Law Enforcement, 4 years Military or 7 years of Armed Security.·         Have a valid TX driver’s license with a favorable MVR report.·         Must have strong report writing skills and have knowledge of proper submittal and filing of the reports.·         Excellent computer Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.·         Type a minimum of 35 wpm with an 80% accuracy rate.·         Working knowledge of Alarm systems.·         Excellent spoken and written English skills.·         Exceptional customer service skills.·         Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, managers, and security staff.·         Exposed Firearms permit, Pepper Foam and Baton, ability to demonstrate proficiency in use and handling of all.·         Availability to work available shift and flexible to pick up overtime when needed.·         This individual must be self-motivated requiring minimal supervision and capable of anticipating requirements.
