As we continue to grow we are seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our winning team as a Entry Level Development Manager for the areas of East Texas and Central Louisiana The Development Manager is responsible for generating new franchisee leads, franchise sales to both new leads and existing franchisees, generating new location leads and works with Landlords, approving new sites, and guiding franchisees through equipment ordering, store construction, and decor upgrades. Basic computer skills as well as the ability to work without direct supervision, good time-management practices and strong verbal public speaking & written communication skills are a must. Individual must have experience in Sales, Marketing, Commercial Real Estate and or Leasing. Bachelor degree preferred but work history will be considered for position. Great for new grads and those looking for a new field of work. Job Description: Essential Job Requirements:* Locate or propose potential locations by contacting real estate firms and traveling throughout territory discovering and exploring opportunities.* Investigate QSR activity and industry trends and competition.* Screen potential franchisees by analyzing applications, potential, and financial feasibility.* Negotiating strategies and position by studying market trends of new real estate development that aligns with company goals and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating franchisee and company needs and goals.* Close new franchise sales by seminar presentation, personal meeting to potential franchisees.* Developing and negotiating lease contracts.* Network with small business people and landlords in order to establish potential franchisee sales and or lease space* Performs Site review projects as assigned.* Attend Networking events, advertising meetings, trade shows, chamber meetings as well as any other assigned or recommended events.* Responds to and handles unfamiliar situations with limited or no supervisory guidance.* Protect organizations value by keeping information confidential.* Makes recommendations or decisions as required.* Performs other duties as assigned.* Commercial real-estate market planning and site selection with a retail or QSR company required.* Knowledge of commercial construction and design* Management and supervision experience in a corporate environment, with a team of business consultants and additional administration is required* Expertise with new and current market development and site selection required* Strong technical aptitude in a robust real estate management database* Microsoft Office Suite knowledge required, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
