One of the nation's fastest growing Chemical Manufacturers has an opening for a Maintenance Manager for their Chemical Manufacturing facility. This Maintenance Superintendent or Maintenance Manager role can move into a management role in the future.Salary $100,000 - $120,000 Plus excellent benefits and relocation packageOur client is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent or Maintenance Manager to direct and coordinate activities of workers for repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment as well as maintenance of buildings, grounds, and utilities for this large chemical manufacturing facility. In this management position, you will be responsible for safety of the maintenance department. You will perform safety inspections and will implement corrective actions from incident reports, inspections, and audits. Actively involved with continuous improvement programs as well as supporting the quality programs.In this Maintenance position, this role will responsible for directing, coordinating, and evaluation of employees in the Maintenance Department. This Maintenance Superintendent or Manager will carry out supervisory responsibilities that include planning, assigning and directing work. You will also address complaints and resolve problems in the department.As Maintenance Superintendent or Maintenance Manager, you will participate in the development of maintenance supervisors, planners, and schedulers by coaching and mentoring. You will ensure maintenance activities are executed according to regulations for pressure vessels, lifting equipment, fire protection, refrigeration systems, and electrical equipment. You will have responsibilities for the maintenance budget and cash flow forecasting.The Maintenance Superintendent or Maintenance Manager will oversee capital project implementation and supervise the planning and scheduling for daily activities. Also, you will be responsible for overall management of plant and unit shutdowns and turnarounds. You will manage the repair of critical equipment in the field and with outside contractors. As Maintenance Superintendent or Maintenance Manager, you will oversee and troubleshoot process equipment problems and will support the reliability of the maintenance programs.Location: Gulf Coast Region with great outdoor family activities, access to quality education, terrific dining, shopping, & entertainment. Low Cost of Living, gracious Southern charm.Requirements for this Chemical manufacturing facility Maintenance Superintendent or Maintenance Manager role:1. B.S. degree required in Engineering2. Eight or more years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance department3. Prior supervisory experience (Supervisors, planners, engineers, etc.)4. Experience and familiarity with PSM, Mechanical integrity and OSHA5. Experience with industrial design, repairs, troubleshooting and standard maintenance practices6.
