Customer Service and Teacher for Children's After-School ProgramJob Description:We are hiring for a part time position, working in the office of the KidzArt afterschool program, to start as soon as possible.We are looking for someone with office experience, but also someone who has a passion for art, teaching, and children. The position includes: answering phones/emails, coordinating supplies, and substituting KidzArt classes.Part time: M-TH 1-5pmCompensation: $8-10 per hour depending on experienceQualifications:* Highly self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit* Problem solver* Very detailed oriented and organized* Must be fun, energetic, and creative* Must be confident on the phone* Computer competency (Word, Excel, email, and more) necessary* Experience with children or teaching* Experience in art is a plus, but not necessary* People who want to work with kids* Must have your own reliable transportation (car necessary)* Must be willing to drive to school sites and more* Must pass background check in order to work with childrenCompany Description:KidzArt is a fun, unique, and confidence-building drawing program for grade school children. Must have knowledge with Microsoft Office and excellent phone etiquette.. Looking to hire for immediate start. Full time. Hours: M-F 8am-5pm. Great Company, great benefits. $14.50/hour.Some duties include:Procedure: Unlock & open lobby doors (if not already done), turn on lights, pc & Shoretel phone system, place newspaper in kitchen, brew coffee and double check that kitchen supplies are stocked.Switchboard: Answer/greet all incoming calls. Provide assistance as needed or disseminate to appropriate party.Visitors: Greet guests, offer coffee, water, etc. Provide assistance as needed. Provide parking validations as appropriate.General Office Voicemail: Access voicemail system, listen to messages and disseminate to appropriate party.Incoming Faxes: Receive, sort and disseminate incoming faxes to appropriate party.Outgoing Faxes: Send outgoing faxes as needed. Receive and disseminate fax confirmation reports to appropriate party.Incoming Packages and Other Deliveries: Receive and disseminate incoming packages and other deliveries to reception to appropriate party.Outgoing Packages/Express Mail: Prepare express mail shipment labels and package for pick up.Conference Rooms: Schedule and maintain conference room reservation calendar. Post "reserve" signs as appropriate. Clean and reorganize rooms as needed.General Administrative Assistance: Copy, fax, scan, prepare overnight mail, bind, folding machine, POs, files, emails, etc. Request and obtain floorplans, brochures, Broker rosters or other materials from various companys for Brokers.Reception Area: Ensure reception area is kept clean and tidy at all times. Maintain inventory and restock water bottles in small refrigerator, candy and mints for candy dishes, general office business cards, fax covers and sign request forms. Restock fax/printer paper and other supplies as needed.Equipment: Inventory equipment weekly. Check equipment in & out as it is requested. Maintain log for camera, measuring wheel and label maker. Recharge camera battery.Sign Requests/Removals: Fax sign requests, removals or edits to sign company. Maintain sign log. Use latest version of log.System Sign program (for searching properties): Update system with new requests, removals or edits as needed so that signs/properties can be searched up quickly and efficiently when callers call about properties.Process Listing(s): See attached workflow process for "Listings" for details. Enter in listing system, scan and attach sign request, lease and photos. Enter in accounting system. Make file, label and file away in listing drawer. Audit and update listings quarterly.Special Projects: Assist with special projects as requested.Kitchen: Make coffee (as needed). Restock coffee station (i.e, cups, creamer, sugar, stirrers, etc). Restock utensils, paper plates and towels and other supplies as needed. Clean and tidy area thoughout the day.
