Our proven Accessibility Management Platform (AMP) is the industry's first on-demand solution that integrates the business and technical aspects of complying with regulations such as Section 508, ADA, and WCAG.SSB is seeking a Product Manager to manage our Accessibility Management Platform (AMP) product. The Product Manager will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.Responsibilities Define and own the overall product strategy for AMP and the AMP product roadmap Identify the business and operational needs for the product based on discussions with customers and the sales team Deliver concise feature and product definitions to the engineering team for implementation Work with visual and user interface designers to define the specific implementation of key features Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples Be an expert with respect to competing products and approaches Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities Track and communicate feature requirements and priorities as part of a roadmap, backlog, or project plan Communicate to relevant parties the status of high-impact features and other significant issues Act as a leader within the company Work with the sales team to manage in-life product performance including sales, pricing, margins and structure of high value transactions Develop effective customer feedback loops, listen to feedback, understand its implications, and translate feedback into better features and products Manage the delivery of product features to the development team and the launch of the final product Coordinate and build strong working relations with various internal organizations including Development, Sales, Marketing and Client Services Develop and conduct training on new product features as they are launched and raise awareness of the overall product and relevant subject matter in the marketQualifications Experience - Portfolio demonstrating at least three years of experience in product management space working directly with sales, development and consulting components of an organization. AMP is targeted at software development teams and provides a fairly technical service -- experience with similar products is a large plus. Technical Experience - If the terms HTML, JavaScript and CSS are not familiar to you, this is not the right job for you. While development experience is not a requirement, the product is technical in nature and a background in computer science or a related field is a requirement for success. In addition, you should have a working knowledge of work web technologies, including those outlined above. Communicative - You should be able to clearly and effectively communicate with customers -- internal and external - in both written and verbal fashions. Written communication should show a high attention to detail. Verbal communication should be formal and indicate the ability to communicate complex topics concisely. Organized and Disciplined - SSB has a culture of disciplined execution over a long period of time. We seek to work with people that have this focus and can execute activities on their own, over a long period of time without a large amount of management oversight. An individual that will succeed in this environment should have a desire to grow in the system over several years and seek to build towards big goals - over a long period of time. Small Team Experience - SSB is a small, growing company with teams in three offices across the country. Experience working in a small office environment is a desired component. As part of this role there will also be a lot of coordination across the offices and time zones -- flexibility is a must. Agile - SSB uses an Agile-based programming approach and software development methodology. Familiarity with this or other, similar iterative software development approaches is encouraged.EducationBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, MIS or a related technical field.Application ProcessSalary is commensurate with experience.
