Position Overview Baylor University is seeking a higher education professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment for the position of Assistant Director, Graduate Student Services. This position is responsible for graduate level advising in the Hankamer School of Business, establishing a course schedule for each semester, and providing creative insights and suggestions for new course topics and programs. In order to adequately accommodate the needs and schedules of our graduate business students, this position is not strictly an 8-5 position. Schedule flexibility is required with frequent extended work hours. The successful candidate for this position will have: Experience with graduate level business academic programs A passion for working closely with graduate students Strong listening skills to help identify needed services, courses, and programs for our graduate students Ability to supervise up to 5 graduate assistants Prior experience in education with a preference for prior higher education experience Qualifications A Bachelors Degree, three years of relevant work experience, and a Christian faith are required. A Masters degree, five years of relevant work experience are preferred. An MBA or Masters in another business related field is strongly preferred.
